IBIS at Loupe Americas 2026 (formerly 'LabelExpo')

IBIS, together with our North American sales partner Best Graphics, co-exhibited at 'LOUPE Americas' in Chicago, USA, from 15–17 September 2026. We discussed, with booth visitors, the latest developments in digital print finishing and how IBIS solutions can support their production requirements.

IBIS Smart-binder and Smart News‑binder

The Smart‑binder (SB) and Smart News‑binder (SNB) include many innovative features such as the option for ISG cold-glue binding. They may be used in-line with the highest speed printers, or fed directly from a web-cutter and roll-unwinder, or off-line from a sheet feeder.

The extended model SB-XW increases max booklet spine length from 320mm to 457mm and max book width from 230mm to to 273 mm. The SNB is used for newspaper production, max width 273mm. The SNB-X increases max spine length to 457mm.

IBIS Smart Label-binder

The Smart Label-binder (SLB) is a special variant of the standard Smart-binder. With cold-glue binding it has been optimised for the production of 'Extended Content Labels' (ECLs) when used together with an in-line laser-tabbing machine. It offers integrity, speed, and quality with maximum efficiency and reliability providing unmatched flexibility and performance for ECL production.

The SLB can run paper weights as light as 37gsm without requiring an additional folder.
