In 2023 IBIS moved Smart-binder manufacture, assembly, testing and packing to our sub-contract partner company EDM based in 'Nijna' in the north of Slovakia.
EDM was founded in 2007 by a team with decades of experience in both contract manufacturing and business strategy.

EDM employs 220 people and their main factory where the Smart-binder is assembled occupies 7500 sq metres (80,728 sq ft). The company also has another 5000 sq meters (53,800 sq ft) factory for component manufacture and electrical assembly. EDM also has a large ‘parts machining center’
